The Multimedia Resources Department purchases materials that support the curriculum.
Primary responsibility for ordering materials lies with the Multimedia Resources
Department Head (ext. 7153) who welcomes suggestions from faculty members, other
librarians, staff and general library users. Order cards are available in the Multimedia
Resources Department or can be sent via interoffice mail. Note the format (VHS, CD, DVD, etc.) on the line marked "Volume."
Order cards for Multimedia Resources Department materials should be sent to
Head of Multimedia Resources Dept. or the Acquisitions Dept. Order cards for books should be
sent to Head of Acquisitions Dept. In all cases, any highly-priced items
(generally over $300.00) should have a letter explaining the need for the item attached
to the order card. A
Multimedia
Request Form is available on our website for submitting orders online.
There is no deadline for ordering materials. We take orders at any time.
Materials normally take 6 to 8 weeks from date of order to reach the Multimedia
Resources Department. The status of orders can be checked from any Sprague
Library Catalog terminal by entering a title search.
