Linking to Articles
The Sprague Library subscribes to a number of journal indexes
that use stable Internet addresses articles available in full-text.

This feature allows faculty to include links to articles
within those indexes in their Web syllabi.

Remember, some of the indexes do not use stable Internet addresses.

  1. Find articles normally.
  2. Click on the title of the article in question.
  3. Linking Options:  Click on this. It is on the right side of the screen.
    (See highlighted area below)
  4. The page that shows up will give you a selection of persistent web addresses, all of which will work. Copy one of these.

  5. Paste web address into your document.
  6. Add the EZProxy prefix to the document's web address.
    EZProxy prefix:  http://ezproxy.montclair.edu:2048/login?url=

    The address will appear as follows:
    http://ezproxy.montclair.edu:2048/login?url=http://springerlink.metapress.com/link.asp?id=ulabhbey4ybyvkrc
