Linking to Articles
The Sprague Library subscribes to a number of journal indexes
that use stable Internet addresses articles available in full-text.

This feature allows faculty to include links to articles
within those indexes in their Web syllabi.

Remember, some of the indexes do not use stable Internet addresses.

  1. Search for articles in the usual fashion.
  2. Click on the title of the article in question to view the entire article.
  3. Copy the URL from the browser's address bar:
    (See hightlighted area below)
  4. Paste that address into your document.
  5. Add the EZProxy prefix to that address.
    EZProxy prefix:  http://ezproxy.montclair.edu:2048/login?url=

    The address will appear as follows:
    http://ezproxy.montclair.edu:2048/login?url=http://muse.jhu.edu/journals/postmodern_culture/v001/1.1beverley.html
