(IIMP)

Linking to Articles
The Sprague Library subscribes to a number of journal indexes
that use stable Internet addresses articles available in full-text.

This feature allows faculty to include links to articles
within those indexes in their Web syllabi.

Remember, some of the indexes do not use stable Internet addresses.


International Index to Music PeriodicalsClick here to enter.

  1. Search for articles in the usual manner.
  2. Full Citation:  Click on this.
  3. Durable URL:  Click on this link near the top right corner of the screen.
    (See highlighted area below)

    The address for the document to be linked to will appear.

  4. Copy and paste the Durable URL into your document.
  5. Add the EZProxy prefix to the web address.
    EZProxy prefix:  http://ezproxy.montclair.edu:2048/login?url=

    The address will appear as follows:
    http://ezproxy.montclair.edu:2048/login?url=http://gateway.proquest.com/openurl?ctx_ver=Z39.88-2003&res_dat=xri:pqil:res_ver=0.1&rft_val_fmt=ori:format:pl:ebnf:jarticle&res_id=xri:iimp&rft_id=xri:iimpft:aarticle:citation:00141065
