Linking to Articles
The Sprague Library subscribes to a number of journal indexes
that use stable Internet addresses articles available in full-text.

This feature allows faculty to include links to articles
within those indexes in their Web syllabi.

Remember, some of the indexes do not use stable Internet addresses.

Grove Dictionary of Music:  Click here to enter.

  1. Search for information normally.
  2. Copy the web address for the article in question, paste it into your document.
    (See highlighted area below)

  3. Add the EZProxy prefix to the address.
    EZProxy prefix:  http://ezproxy.montclair.edu:2048/login?url=

    The address will appear as follows:
    http://ezproxy.montclair.edu:2048/login?url=http://www.grovemusic.com/shared/views/article.html?section=music.40258.6
